|Where are you located?
VACUUM OUTLET is located in Lee County, at the tip of beautiful southwest Virginia. To increase efficiency, many products are shipped from three of our other locations throughout the USA.
|How long have you been in business?
We've been in the vacuum industry since 1987 and have been serving the internet community since 1997. In late 1998 and again in 2003 we expanded to our current locations allowing us to more than double our on-hand inventory.
|Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express cards for your convienence. You also have the option of mailing in your payment. (Money orders will ship when received, while checks may require up to 15 days to clear before your package ships.)
|I need parts for my machine. Can you help?
We offer the most popular parts for Kirby, Rainbow, TriStar,Filter Queen, Miele, and Sebo vacuums. For other brands, we offer hoses, motors, and brushrolls only. We offer bags, filters, and belts for virtually all brands on the market today.
|I'm a little worried about ordering over the internet. Is there another way to order?
We've yet to have a problem with our state-of-the-art military grade SECURE online ordering system, but if you feel more comfortable, you may call us with your order. (Be advised there may be minimum order sizes for telephone orders, since everything must be done manually.)
You can also pay by check or money order, whichever is more convenient for you.
|Are your vacuum cleaners new?|
|The new machines we offer include all Miele, Sebo, Lindhaus, Carpet Pro, and Titan vacuums.
We offer reconditioned versions of vacuums sold by 'in-home' dealers - these include Rainbow, Kirby, Filter Queen, and Tristar. The only way to get a new machine from one of these companies is to pay the $1800+ door-to-door price. We offer you a money saving alternative.
|What makes reconditioned machines such an outstanding value?
The information below (regarding reconditioned vacuums) only applies to in-home brands (Rainbow, Kirby, Filter Queen, and Tri-Star).
Our machines come from different sources - overstocked distributors, demo models, repo's, etc. - we buy in volume and pass the savings on to you.
All of our machines are completely disassembled, inspected, and cleaned - motors are rebuilt or replaced, and the machines are reassembled and thoroughly tested again by two technicians. They often include new hoses, brushrolls, attachments, and many other parts. That's how we can confidently offer the warranties we do.
Basically, you get a 'like-new' machine with an outstanding warranty for much less than the cost of a new unit.
|How do your warranties work?
If it's a minor problem, call us and we'll send you the parts. If it's a more serious problem, you can return the machine to us, and we'll repair it and return it quickly. Also, we may refer you to an authorized repair shop in your area, in which case we will pay the repair bill for you. This saves you shipping time and gets your machine back to you faster.
|Why should we order a machine from you?
Our goal is to provide the highest-quality unit you will find on the internet. Obviously if you buy a high-end machine, it should last you a minimum of 10-15 years. Our goal is to make you a satisfied customer, and hopefully you'll refer your friends and family to us also. Happy customers referring their friends has been the secret of our growth.

|What are the return policies?
Supplies may be returned within 30 days of invoice date for a full refund (minus shipping charges). Factory sealed packages which you have opened - even if the contents were not used - are not accepted for return.
Machines may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a full refund (minus our shipping/handling charges of getting the package to you). This gives you a chance to try the machine in your own home and make sure it does what you expect.
While we do not penalize our customers with a 'restocking fee', vacuums must be returned in the same condition received, with the original packing materials, boxes, and instructions. Appropriate deductions will be made for scratched or damaged units or missing components.
You must call for a return authorization number before making any returns. Returns made without a valid return authorization number are subject to restocking or cleaning fees.
Online orders are considered to be placed when you submit the order. Orders which are cancelled before shipment are subject to a 5% charge card and restocking fee.
Defective and/or warrantied items will be repaired or replaced, and we will pay the return postage back to you for valid warranty claims. Non-defective returns will not be accepted.
If your order is returned to us due to an invalid address that you provide or by refusing the package, we will deduct our exact shipping charges (even if the order had free shipping) when processing your refund.
Credit card reversals (chargebacks) which are found to be fraudulant (or if the credit card company sides with us) will incur a $65.00 reversal fee. This fee and associated legal fees must be paid within 7 business days from the time we bill you, or your account will be sent to a collection agency.
Basically, we treat everyone the way we like to be treated. We have these policies to keep things fair and keep the prices low for everyone. We'll do our best to keep you satisfied. We want you telling your friends about us!!!
